The role requires completing a specialty training in radiologic technology, obtaining ARRT-R within 6 months for new graduates, and advancing to level 2 within 24 months for hires after the specified date. Benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and ensure data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.

Job description

Role Overview:

Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, acquiring and analyzing data for interpretation by licensed practitioners. They independently execute or assist with radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to legal and institutional policies.
