Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.

• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Advancement to level 2 required within 24 months if hired after the specified date.

• Obtain correct patient orders, ensure proper identification and preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer and storage, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including those outside the radiology department.
