Live Well Homecare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research-related ionizing radiation procedures. You will independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, ensure correct imaging protocols, and support licensed practitioners while prioritizing patient safety per ALARA principles.

You will prepare patients, document activities, educate students and healthcare team members, and assist with procedures outside radiology such as in operating

Formación

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; ARRT-R certification within six months.
• Ability to perform a full scope of radiographic procedures.
• Strong attention to patient safety and excellent communication skills.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R certification promptly; hires after a specified date must advance to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history.
• Use imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and optimize image quality.
• Administer medications via vascular access when required.
• Evaluate images for accuracy, verify data transfer, and manage post-processing if needed.
• Educate and supervise students and healthcare team members.
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology.
