Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety and care quality.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed, document activities, and evaluate image quality.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist practitioners during procedures, and perform exams outside the radiology department when needed.
