Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and verify clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and positioning.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and ensure data is properly stored and transferred.
