Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months of hire.
• Progess to level 2 within 24 months if hired after a specified date.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient care, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures across settings, including operating rooms and ICU.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and ensure proper data archiving and transfer.
