Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Radiology Technologist part-time on-site to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards. The role interfaces with patients and staff to ensure imaging needs are met and images are accurately transmitted to PACS.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT-R, state fluoroscopy permit, and current BCLS, with at least one year of radiology experience and solid computer skills,

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
