Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiology Technologist for the Danville, PA location. The role involves administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, and maintaining patient safety and image quality.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months of hire. Position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and a path to higher levels (XRAY Technologist II) based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures preferred for role levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct exam order, proper patient identification, and history documentation.
• Apply imaging protocols and maintain ALARA for patient safety and image quality.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and diagnostic procedures in various settings.
