Job Overview

This position involves performing routine and complex CT examinations, understanding human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The role requires working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and angiography procedures, including advanced techniques like bolus tracking and cardiac gating.
• Coordinate care with various hospital departments and interpret radiology requests accurately.
• Ensure infection control and radiation safety practices are followed.
• Prepare and administer contrast materials, monitor for adverse reactions, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain current knowledge of imaging technology, policies, and guidelines.
• Assist in patient positioning, comfort, and safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification in radiologic technology by ARRT (R), with advanced certification in CT preferred.
• Completion of a 24-month accredited radiologic technology program.
• Proficiency in English, U.S. citizenship, and ability to pass background checks.

Work Schedule

Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
