Qualifications

• Completion of an educational program accepted by the ARRT is required.
• Working knowledge of radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required.
• Registration with the ARRT is required.
• NDMIRT licensure if working in North Dakota.
• ARRT certification must be obtained within 60 days in South Dakota.
• Iowa permit to practice may be required in Iowa.
• CNA certification may be required at some locations within eight weeks.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety and protection guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment and navigate EMR systems.
• On-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
