Job summary

Ascension Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist for Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, KS. The role focuses on high-quality diagnostic imaging within a rotating PRN schedule and strong safety practices.

You’ll contribute to a seamless PACS workflow and patient care in a busy radiology department. Required: BLS, ARRT Radiologic Technologist, and Kansas Radiologic Technologist licenses within 3 months of hire, plus appropriate education.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential required within 90 days of hire.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts Radiologic Technologist license required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic images to aid accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain patient safety by managing radiation exposure and following safety protocols.
• Position patients precisely and select parameters to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Verify data and markers in the digital patient record before submission to PACS.
• Monitor equipment and optimize protocols to keep the department ready for next patient.
