Job summary

• ARRT certification required.

• Graduation from an accredited junior college or technical program required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by applying prescribed radiation to the patient.
• Follow physician instructions and prepare radiography equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Communicate with and prepare patients, removing any interfering garments or jewelry.
• Position patients properly to obtain X-rays and adjust equipment for best density, detail, and contrast.
• Review available lab results (BUN/Creatinine and/or GFR) to determine renal function.
