Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical and/or electrical dexterity required for imaging equipment operation.
• Maintains and updates knowledge of imaging modalities and safety protocols.
• Attains and maintains NY licensure and ARRT/NDMS/NYS DOH eligibility as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment within Medical Imaging Services.
• Maintains imaging equipment and performs basic preventative maintenance.
• Adheres to safety standards and uses MSDS materials as required.
• Performs required sterilization techniques and preserves patient confidentiality.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and prepares them for imaging.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures related to job function.
