Job summary

NAVY HOSPITAL PENSACOLA in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Civilian Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams, administer contrast under physician supervision, and support radiologists during procedures.

Qualifications include one year of specialized radiography experience and maintenance of imaging equipment, plus graduate-level study in diagnostic radiology or radiography. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience performing radiographic procedures or examinations.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment.
Graduate-level education in Diagnostic Radiology or Radiography.

Responsibilities

Assure sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other equipment are ready in imaging suite.
Administer contrast under supervision of the attending physician.
Assist the radiologist during procedures and perform follow-up imaging independently.
Perform a variety of routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Ensure radiographs demonstrate the required anatomy for dictation by the radiologist.
Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic and other special radiographic examinations which require the administration of contrast material.
