Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in an academic medical setting to perform diagnostic radiographic exams with a focus on high-quality patient care. You will prepare and position patients, operate digital imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to support patient care.

You will participate in education and training of students and contribute to a safe, compassionate, and educational environment.

Qualifications

Competence in radiographic imaging and patient positioning.
Knowledge of radiation safety and safe operating practices.
Ability to use digital imaging systems and accurately update PACS/EMR documentation.
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Commitment to clinical education and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Operate digital imaging equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
Follow radiation safety practices and maintain a safe clinical environment.
Document exam details accurately in PACS/EMR systems.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and students to support patient care.
Assist with clinical education and training of future healthcare professionals.
Maintain standards of compassion, innovation, and excellence in day-to-day work.
