Job summary

Terrestris, LLC is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) to support the Veteran community at 1051 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, New Jersey. This contract position features a base year with 4 option periods and a schedule of Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, at 1051 Hooper Avenue.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-certified in radiologic technology, licensed in the U.S., with BLS and ACLS. CT/MRI/Mammography/IR/CIR credentials are a plus, and VA experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in general radiologic technology
• License to practice Radiologic Technology in the U.S. or D.C.
• ARRT specialty certifications (CT, MRI, Mammography, IR, CIR)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Experience with VA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and operate diagnostic radiographic equipment.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; provide pretest education and discharge instructions.
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and document internal structures.
• Conduct quality control to ensure high-quality images and minimize radiation exposure.
• Monitor patients during exams and report changes to the physician.
• Log test data into patient information systems and update records.
• Follow VA and department guidelines for safe practice.
