  • Support the Clinical Coordinator in providing clinical instruction and document progression.
  • Maintain strong relationships and act as a liaison between clinical sites and the college.
  • Develop clinical rotation assignments, lesson plans, and schedules.
  • Maintain all clinical records including calculation of grades.
  • Review and revise performance objectives to assure valid clinical learning experiences.
  • Initiate clinical instructor/clinical site evaluation by students each quarter.
  • Provide student counseling and advising as required.
  • Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
  • Travel to clinical affiliates and evaluate students’ performance.

DMS Adjunct Faculty

South College invites applications for the adjunct position for the DMS program at the South College Dallas campus. We offer both abdominal/OBGYN and cardiac concentrations and are searching for a team‑oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide didactic and lab education as assigned by program director.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
Credentials
  • Must be ARDMS credentialed in multiple modalities and in good standing with the ARDMS.
Experience
  • Must possess proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, education, and counseling.
  • Must possess the appropriate credential(s) specific to one or more of the programs offered.
  • Must document the equivalent of two years full‑time experience as a credentialed sonographer.
