Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes.
As a Vascular Sonographer, you will:
Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassion
Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies
Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department
Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hire
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months
BCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning
Demonstrates understanding of the human development process and ability to care for patients across the lifespan
Computer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient data
Preferred Attributes:

Interest in advanced vascular imaging technologies or quality improvement initiatives
