Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program with relevant certifications.
• Experience in obtaining high-quality scans and managing patient throughput.

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration

The role you’ll contribute: Under general supervision, performs general sonographic procedures according to department protocols. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Adheres to all relevant compliance plans, rules, regulations, and standards.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Demonstrating core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
• Obtaining high-quality scans, following proper exam protocols, confirming patient/exam accuracy, and being receptive to radiologist feedback.
• Reviewing images, documenting thoroughly, rescanning if needed, and ensuring exam quality.
• Completing exams efficiently, managing patient throughput, and participating in call rotations if applicable.
• Using computer systems to update exam status, ensure billing accuracy, and manage data appropriately.
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment safely, following infection control standards, and handling hazardous materials properly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of Ultrasound Program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARDMS certifications: RDMS - Abdomen (AB) and RDMS - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field
• Knowledge of PACS and related equipment
• Good organizational skills
• Specialized skills in breast, pediatric, neuro sonography, or venous Doppler imaging
