The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I performs routine ultrasound procedures under supervision and follows established protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Current ARDMS certification required; Physics registry completed.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• No experience required; six months of diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine ultrasound procedures under supervision.
• Follows established imaging protocols.
• Provides high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a community hospital setting.

Education
