Qualifications

• AAS degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field is required.
• Certification as RDMS, RVT, RDCS by ARDMS or Sonography certification by ARRT is required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sonography; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Certification as RDMS, RVT, RDCS by ARDMS or Sonography certification by ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sonography; 2 years preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining sonographic imaging equipment.
