Job summary

The role requires an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and certification by ASCP-BOC (or equivalent) with certification expected within the first year

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Certification by ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent (within first year).
• Must obtain certification within the first year if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized diagnostic lab tests as requested by healthcare staff.
• Prepares specimens for microscopic examination or testing.
• Operates automated lab equipment and performs quality control.
• Records results in the specified system and follows privacy and safety standards.
