Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography and bone density procedures. You will assist Radiologists, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality of imaging in a day shift.

Requirements include graduation from a 2-year radiography program, ARRT Radiography and Mammography, Iowa permit to practice, and continuing training. New grads encouraged to apply; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two year accredited program in Radiography.
• Must have ARRT Radiography and ARRT Mammography certifications within 1 year.
• Iowa permit to practice required; 40 hour mammography training + 8 hours tomo training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedure.
• Provides patient care in accordance with department policy.
• Collects history data from patient and provides education.
• Performs mammographic imaging procedures.
• Performs bone density procedures according to skill set.
• Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and colleague health policies.
