Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Trainee - PRN, days

Join us for the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Trainee - PRN, days role at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Position Details

Location: Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA

Schedule: PRN (4 hours/week), days, Monday to Friday with some weekends, hours between 7:00am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities
  • Under indirect supervision, perform radiological procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes, including patient positioning, technique selection, immobilization, and radiation safety.
  • Receive and verify requests, check for special instructions, consult with radiologists as needed, and document patient information and history.
  • Greet patients, confirm identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Complete examinations, documentation, billing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform safety inspections, maintain supplies, participate in education of radiology students, and report equipment issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Enrollment in an AMA-approved radiological technology program in good standing
  • CPR certification

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Credentials
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
