Position Overview

This role offers one (1) Permanent Intermittent and one (1) Permanent Full‑time Diagnostic Imaging Technologist III – A (CT and MRI) position located in the Health Services – Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) in Martinez, CA. The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides diagnostic services (routine and specialized) and interpretation for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Assess general patient condition.
• Document procedures and events in the patient’s medical records and departmental logs.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Two (2) years of full‑time experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures, with at least six (6) months performing complex procedures in the specialty area of the assigned position in an acute care hospital.
• Certification: Possession and maintenance of a valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by the American Red Cross.
• Computed Tomography (CT) assignment: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by the California Department of Public Health; current CT certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); valid Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) assignment: Current MRI certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or MRI certification and registration with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
