Qualifications

• Associates degree required and NYS Radiology Technologist license.

• 1 year radiology tech experience in a hospital setting is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Participate in Radiology Management System functions for patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as required.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians and radiologists.

Position OverviewThe Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. Customers served include employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.Primary Department, Division, or Unit:CT Scan, UHS Wilson Medical CenterPrimary Work Shift:Day RotationalRegular Scheduled Weekly Hours:36Compensation Range:$33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience-Up to a $10,000 sign on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.
