Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized diagnostic imaging exams, render optimal images, and support diagnoses. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals, train students and technologists, and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and safety in procedures.

You will prepare patients, maintain records in EMR/PACS, practice ALARA principles, and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Radiology certificate is required.
• 1 year of radiology experience is required.
• Indiana radiology license or radiology student permit required.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic imaging exams and procedures with optimal image quality.
• Ensure ALARA radiation safety practices and proper patient shielding.
• Prepare and position patients; communicate procedures and obtain consent as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff; train and supervise students and technologists.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS and review images for quality.
