Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Diagnostic Medical Physicist to support high-quality, safe diagnostic imaging across our Houston network. You will perform equipment calibration, QA, acceptance and performance testing, and radiation safety assessments for X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine systems.

You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and leaders to optimize protocols, manage dose, support regulatory and accreditation compliance, and provide staff education

Qualifications

• QA/QC procedures for imaging equipment.
• Radiation safety assessment and dose optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment calibration and QA testing across X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine systems.
• Conduct acceptance testing and performance testing for new imaging equipment.
• Lead radiation safety assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide staff education on imaging protocols and safety practices.
