Unity Health in Searcy, AR seeks a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Student, PRN. The role covers cardiac ultrasounds across the hospital including special care units. You will work under supervision while gaining hands-on experience.

Education: enrolled in or graduate of an accredited ultrasound program; registry eligible per ARDMS/CCI. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Must communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and visitors.

• Must be willing to learn cardiovascular procedures as required.
• Physical Effort: Walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment and wheelchairs, and lifting patients.
• Mental Effort: Ability to work under stress.

Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Student, PRN

• Education: Enrolled in or graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or appropriate training in cardiac sonography.
• Training and Experience: Enrolled in or graduate of ultrasound program and registry eligible per ARDMS or CCI requirements. BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required.
• Job Knowledge: Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors.
