Job summary

SH Audiology is seeking a patient-focused Audiologist to join our growing clinical team in the San Francisco/San Mateo area. The role centers on diagnostic testing, clinical evaluation, patient counseling, and collaboration with physicians to support comprehensive hearing healthcare.

A Doctor of Audiology and California licensure (or eligibility) are required. The ideal candidate has a passion for high-quality patient care, enjoys diagnostic work, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Au.D. degree from an accredited program.
• Active California Audiology License or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
• Conduct diagnostic testing including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, immittance testing, OAEs, and other audiologic assessments as appropriate.
• Interpret test results and develop clinical recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

SH Audiology is seeking a patient-focused Audiologist to join our growing clinical team. This position is primarily focused on diagnostic testing, clinical evaluation, patient counseling, and collaboration with physicians to support comprehensive hearing healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for pediatric and adult patients
• Conduct diagnostic testing including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions (OAEs), and other audiologic assessments as appropriate
• Interpret test results and develop clinical recommendations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
