Job summary

Northampton Volkswagen is seeking experienced automotive technicians to join our high-performing, team-first service department. You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced tools and collaborate with advisors to keep workflow moving.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive technician experience, dealership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions and powertrains.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose efficiently and avoid unnecessary parts replacement.
• Comfortable using diagnostic software and service information systems.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Handle engine, transmission, electrical and drivability work.
• Perform routine maintenance with speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with advisors and the team to keep workflow moving.
• Document findings clearly to ensure transparency with customers.
