Job summary

Northampton Volkswagen is seeking experienced automotive technicians to join our high-performing, team-first service department. You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced tools and collaborate with advisors to keep workflow moving.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive technician experience, dealership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions and powertrains.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose efficiently and avoid unnecessary parts replacement.
• Comfortable using diagnostic software and service information systems.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools.

• Perform routine maintenance with speed and accuracy.

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools
• Handle everything fromengine and transmission workto electrical and drivability concerns
• Perform routine maintenance (breaks, alignments, services) with speed and accuracy
• Work closely with advisors and your team to keep workflow moving
• Document findings clear to ensure transparency and trust with customers

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an automotive technician (dealership experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of engine, transmission and powertrain systems
• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Ability todiagnose efficiently - not just replace parts
• Comfortable using diagnostic software and service information systems
