This position is a field-sales role focused on ADC products and requires collaboration with multiple channels and healthcare constituents.

The Opportunity

This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We support people with diabetes and are committed to delivering high-quality products and unwavering support to customers. The role involves meeting or exceeding sales quotas for ADC products, collaborating across channels, and building relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. It is a field-sales opportunity.

Primary Function
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas/objectives for ADC Products.
  • Collaborating with various channels, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
  • Establishing strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.).
  • Acting in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner while focusing on the needs and interests of others.
  • Keeping current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
  • Understanding and conveying information professionally and accurately.
  • Effectively planning for and following through with short- and long-term results based on business trends by developing plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and the appropriate resources.
  • Keeping current in market trends and competitor’s strategy.
  • Engaging in sales-focused activities including: conveying information clearly, answering questions, responding to others, and listening carefully to understand the needs of providers and patients.
  • Positioning products and services using appropriate resources and confident, convincing logic; tailoring the sales approach to meet customer needs.
  • Utilizing and distributing appropriate resources.
  • Handling disagreements and objections by exploring perspectives and addressing them tactfully.
  • Developing and implementing plans (e.g., territory, account, and call plans) that include goals, action items, time frames and resources.
  • Regularly tracking and reporting progress against plan, redirecting efforts as necessary.
  • Completing all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely fashion; documenting daily activity in call reporting/tracking system.
  • Maintaining accountability for all samples in accordance with Division guidelines.
  • Working within quality guidelines established for compliance and implementing the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Complying with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.
Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience with a commendable track record, preferably in the healthcare industry.
