Job summary

Iredell Diabetes & Wellness is seeking a Diabetes Program Manager to lead the diabetes program, supervise staff, and direct education services for patients, families, and community members. You will ensure quality and HIPAA-compliant care while coordinating with the Director of Wellness.

The role requires a degree and licensure in NC (RN or RD), managerial experience, and ongoing ADA-aligned CEU compliance; the program emphasizes outreach, budget adherence, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Current RN licensure in NC or Registered Dietitian to practice in NC.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.
• Certified Diabetes Educator with current certification preferred.
• Completes a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education in diabetes and education annually.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and direct all facets of the Diabetes program.
• Lead group classes and tailor education to individual needs.
• Document patient progress and related information in the medical record.
• Provide diabetes education to participants, families, and community members.
• Collaborate with marketing and administer the annual program budget.
• Maintain ADA Recognized status and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
