Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Diabetes Educator Certified (Dietitian) for Central Nursing in Baltimore, MD. The educator will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate diabetes education programs for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Current license or registration in specific allied health profession (e.g. Registered Dietician) required.
• Must obtain Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) within 1 year of employment.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates components of the diabetes education program.
• Provides diabetes education to patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
• Plans and conducts continuing education programs in diabetes and nutrition.
