Job summary

Providence Saint John's Medical Foundation seeks a registered dietitian to provide individualized and group dietary management education to patients. The role includes developing and teaching nutrition classes as part of the Education Department and contributing to patient-centered, evidence-based nutrition counseling.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Foods and Nutrition and RD certification; 3 years of clinical counseling experience; group and individual teaching experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Foods and Nutrition
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
• 3 years Counseling patients in a clinical environment.
• Group and one-on-one teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Upon hire: Diabetes Educator Certification - National Organization
• 1 year experience in an outpatient setting.
