Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA is seeking a Dietitian - Clinical Dietetics for Per Diem assignments. This role provides nutrition care to hospital inpatients and outpatients on 8-hour day shifts, partnering with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Dietitian - Clinical Dietetics at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Additionally, our Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs.

Under general supervision, oversees and provides nutritional care to hospital inpatients and/or outpatients. Provides patient care to any of the following age groups: premature infants, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young, middle and older adults.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Coursework/Training: ADA approved internship, or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Dietetics experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience in computers and handheld computers.
• Spanish Speaking

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $35.03 - $55.40
