Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a Clinical Nurse Diabetes Educator in a PRN role to provide expert diabetes education and care coordination for patients and families in the St. Louis area.

You will assess learning needs, develop individualized self-management plans, and deliver instruction on insulin use, glucose monitoring, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. You will document care in the EHR and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support quality initiatives and hospital and community diabetes

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in diabetes education preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diabetes education and care coordination for patients and families.
