Job summary

Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary diabetes care team in Idaho Falls, with 1–2 days per week in Pocatello. The role focuses on patient education, diabetes technology, and collaboration with endocrinology providers.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist willing to pursue CDCES credential.
• Current Idaho license or credential when required by discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Interest in diabetes care and technology.
• Willingness to participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to work 1-2 days per week in Pocatello.

Responsibilities

• Educate people with diabetes and their families to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage diabetes.
• Train patients on insulin pumps or CGM and review glucose/insulin-delivery data.
• Teach group classes and provide education through appointments, telehealth, and telephone support.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers on medications, nutrition, activity, and technology.
• Document goals, progress, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Support on-call rotation and participate in community education activities.
