We’re currently seeking a Microbiologist to join our dynamic Quality and R&D team. This is a critical role in ensuring our products are not only effective and beautiful, but also safe and compliant with the highest industry standards.

What You’ll Do:

As a Microbiologist, you will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and safety throughout the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, DI water, and finished products using USP microbiological methods.
• Conducting environmental monitoring in manufacturing and lab areas to identify and control potential sources of microbial contamination.
• Executing and documenting cleaning and sanitization validations to ensure manufacturing environments meet strict hygiene standards.
• Validating DI water systems, ensuring that water used in product manufacturing meets microbiological quality requirements.
• Supporting cross-functional teams in process cleaning validations, helping to identify and mitigate microbial risks in equipment and production lines.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures, data, and results.
• Participating in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts related to microbiological safety and compliance.
• Performing other quality-related duties and special projects as assigned.

You will work closely with QA, R&D, and production teams, contributing your microbiological expertise to improve product quality and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Familiar with GMPs and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a microbiology lab, preferably within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, or similar regulated industry.
• Experience with:
• USP microbiological methods
• DI water validation
• Cleaning and sanitization validation protocols
