Job summary

Tria Federal seeks an Information Systems Compliance Specialist to support Security Assessment and Authorization for USSS IT systems. This role requires onsite work at customer HQ in Washington, DC 1-2 days per week.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience, DHS A&A experience, and CISSP/CISM plus a DHS Public Trust clearance. Bachelor’s degree and Security+ certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• CISSP and CISM certifications required or equivalent.
• 3-5 years IT security control assessment experience.
• DHS A&A experience required or strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent tests and evaluations of technical, operational, and management security controls.
• Review system documentation including security plans and contingency plans.
• Analyze and interpret vulnerability and compliance scans.
• Identify security weaknesses and compliance deviations.
• Author comprehensive Security Assessment Reports (SARs) with risk findings and ATO deliverables.
• Manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) including creation, tracking and closures.
• Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and risk officers during authorization processes.
