Job summary

DHL is hiring a part-time Dockworker in Reno, NV. You will follow DHL guidelines to scan, sort, inspect and process time-sensitive shipments with a 3:30pm–8:30pm shift, about 25–30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include loading items into containers and conveyors, inspecting vehicles, and occasional night deliveries to a client. Emphasis on safety, teamwork and customer service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player and able to communicate efficiently.
• Previous warehouse experience, preferably in dock position.
• Candidate must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

• Load items in designated shipping containers as directed.
• Perform all functions assigned to MPS (Missing Perfect Shipment).
• Load and unload containers onto a moving conveyor belt.
• Physically load containers onto the ramp truck.
• Inspect vehicles.
• Occasionally deliver to one client at night.

We are currently hiring Part Time Dockworker/ from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. As a Dockworker you would follow DHL guidelines, standard company procedures and safety requirements to scan, sort, inspect and process shipments time sensitive materials in a timely and efficient manner.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. frequently
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly.
• Get in and out of vehicle as many times as needed.
