Position Summary
The warehouse Technician is responsible for all material management (receiving, QC, product labeling and shipping) along with deliveries to and from the warehouse and jobsite. Along with Purchasing Department, warehouse technician will oversee inventory levels, monitor the goods for storage, transportation and shipping, and ensures the efficient usage of warehouse space.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement and follow the receiving, quality control, and contract marking procedures.
- Load & unload truck via forklift (Current Training Certification Required)
- Drive the S&S/ISEC delivery vehicle & perform jobsite inventories of material.
- Process shipments via the UPS shipping system and assist with LTL shipments.
- Receive and monitor all Shipping Requests from Detailers and schedule deliveries accordingly. Liaison between Detailers, Purchasing Departments and transportation department / freight vendors.
- Maintain Quality Control, inspection and reporting of all warehouse unloads and reloads to and from warehouse; and report all freight damage and/or content discrepancies.
- Assist Purchasing staff with compiling Freight Damage Claim documentation.
- Maintain warehouse organization, inventory, logs and control.
- Coordinate with Detailing and Purchasing Department all warehouse functions – unloads, storage, material organization, material inventory, reloads, jobsite deliveries.
- Ensure all unloads, warehouse functions, reloads and jobsite delivery transport are performed safely and efficiently.
- Effectively manage Material Handlers in compliance with S&S / ISEC’s Core Values and Safety Program.
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and coordinate all warehouse equipment maintenance and documentation.
- Travel nationally as necessary to assist in inventories, contract marking and establishing new warehouse locations
- Inventory and prep materials for RGAs (Return Goods Authorization) in collaboration with purchasing agent and detailer
- Maintain vehicle maintenance of S&S/ ISEC owned or rented delivery vehicles.

- Exposure to multiple or larger projects with increased scope and complexity
- Fully autonomous in position

- Assist in development/mentoring of DFH Technician; may have a direct report
