Job summary

DEXIS, part of Envista, seeks a Regional Clinical Training Specialist to deliver hands-on and remote post-sale training for dental imaging products in a clinical setting. The role includes training on imaging software and related technology and acting as a training escalation point within the territory.

The position requires up to 75% travel across Southern California and surrounding regions, with some virtual training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent certifications/licenses.
• 5 years of hands-on clinical dental experience, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing position.
• Proven experience utilizing dental imaging equipment.
• Must live within the geographic area of Seattle, WA or surrounding areas.
• Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record as the position entails extensive use of a personal car while on company business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-user training on supported intraoral imaging products.
• Reporting and maintaining documentation on completed trainings.
• Review and follow-up on completed surveys within territory to ensure training meets stakeholder needs.
• Initial point of escalation and investigation in relation to clinical training within territory.
• Provide support to Clinical Program Managers and Product Management in testing and implementing new products.
• Conduct billable clinical training sessions while building a pipeline of future training opportunities.
• Attend tradeshow and educational events in the territory.
• Obtain certification on supported products and recertification as necessary.
• Travel up to 75% and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interact with multiple departments and with customers and key experts.

The primary function of the Regional Clinical Training Specialist is to provide hands‑on and/or remote post‑sale product training on digital imaging products to customers in a clinical setting. Additional training opportunities will include imaging software and related technology. The Regional Clinical Training Specialist will also serve as a source for training escalations within the territory. This position will also partner with both internal and external teams in assisting the customer regarding their clinical needs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct end-user training on supported intraoral imaging products.
• Reporting and maintaining documentation on completed trainings.
• Responsible for review and follow‑up on completed surveys within their territory, to ensure clinical training meets stakeholder needs.
• Initial point of escalation and investigation in relation to clinical training within their territory.
• Provide support to the Clinical Program Managers and Product Management in testing and implementing new products in their territory.
• Conduct billable clinical training sessions while actively building and maintaining a pipeline of future training opportunities through customer outreach, needs analysis, and relationship management.
• Attend tradeshow and educational events in their territory for clinical representation and assistance.
• Obtain certification on supported products and recertification as necessary.
• Manage priorities and timelines well and be comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal face‑to‑face, phone, and email skills and a strong customer focus.
• This position may at times require working non‑standard hours and could include travel that occurs on weekends when necessary.

Job Requirements

Proven ability to work remotely and independently. Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute are key success factors in this position. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent certifications and/or licenses.
• 5 years of hands‑on clinical dental experience with at least 2 years of experience in a customer‑facing position.
• Proven experience utilizing dental imaging equipment.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must live within the geographic area of Seattle, WA or surrounding areas.
• Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record as the position entails extensive use of a personal car while on company business.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of training experience within a clinical setting.
• Experience with selling within a commercial space.
• Radiation Safety certification.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Advanced knowledge of radiology a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Territory/Travel

• Territory: Southern California from San Diego all the way to the Central Coast such as San Luis Obispo as well as up the Bakersfield and the desert area such as Riverside and Palm Springs.
• 25% virtual training/75% in the field
• Overnight travel: Willing to travel up to 25% - Can use company card or get reimbursed
• Travel: Car allowance and mileage through Motus
