Job summary

Providence is seeking a DEXA Technician to perform bone densitometry scans and related processing within our diagnostic imaging team. The role requires training in bone densitometry or radiology, California licensure, and BLS certification.

Experience as a DEXA Technician is preferred, with opportunities to grow in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The position is on-site with Providence’s Clinical Network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry.

Responsibilities

• Take and process x-ray films as part of the DEXA/bone densitometry scope.
• Operate DEXA equipment and ensure quality control and safety.
• Collaborate with radiology staff to support patient care.
