Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Limited-IntMed to perform bone density examinations and related patient care within the Bone Density Certification scope of California.

You will prepare patients and equipment, perform DXA testing with reliable results, calibrate the DXA system regularly, and handle related paperwork and billing per LLUH policies, while communicating professionally with physicians and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified Bone Densitometry limited license school required.
• Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant school preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in limited radiology exams; two to three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for exams.
• Perform bone density testing with DXA equipment and ensure high-quality results.
• Calibrate DXA equipment regularly to maintain optimum function.
• Handle related paperwork and billing per LLUH protocols.
• Communicate with physicians professionally.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
