Qualifications

• Current California Limited Permit-Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic exams limited to Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA). Prepares patients for exams and explains procedures.
• Follows strict guidelines about the usage of radiographic equipment. Coordinates modality workflow by matching up requisition, accompanying paperwork and notifying technologist.
• Utilizes PACS/Meditech for exam records, images, billing, and scheduling; maintains records and film library.
