Position Overview:

The Host/Cashier role involves positive guest interaction, greeting guests, handling cash and coupons, operating micros computer systems, basic math skills, food handling, menu knowledge, sanitation practices, and awareness of casino and restaurant promotions and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet and seat guests courteously and promptly.
  • Perform transactions accurately using cash, coupons, and house accounts.
  • Address guest comments and concerns professionally, following policies.
  • Notify supervisors of intoxicated guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the dining and cashier areas.
  • Stock and rotate supplies in coolers and beverage stations.
  • Clean tables and sweep/mop as needed; report maintenance issues.
  • Follow sanitation, safety, and security standards.
  • Operate Micros system, cash drawers, and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Follow security protocols for cash handling in the cage.
  • Be willing to cross-train and support related operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Lift up to 40 lbs., stand/sit/walk for entire shift.
  • Handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Work in a loud, crowded, smoking environment; adhere to safety policies.

Native American and Tribal Preference applies. Must pass background and drug tests. Flexibility in hours required. Confidentiality adherence essential.
