Stanley Black & Decker in Norwood, MA is seeking a DeWalt Service Technician for a Mon-Fri 1st shift, onsite position. You will repair portable electric and pneumatic tools, troubleshoot faults, inspect for safety, and complete service orders with part pricing and customer details.

The role emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and maintaining a clean work area while supporting company safety standards and quality workmanship.

The Job

• Handle repairs to all portable electric, pneumatic tool, construction equipment, and outdoor products.
• Troubleshoot tool failure—fully or partially disassembling unit to examine components for wear/defects and replacing parts that are worn or defective.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Properly inspect, analyze, and repair tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Perform performance & safety testing on equipment after repair.
• Complete work orders using repair parts and labor to include pricing and pertinent customer information.
• Manage inventory by ensuring accuracy with parts and accessories.
• Achieve daily productivity goals on the amount of tools repaired.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Person

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record-keeping systems.

Hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $25.00. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The hourly rate offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors.
