Job summary
Steampunk is seeking a Test Engineer to join our DevSecOps practice, delivering QA services for application, cloud and data systems. You will leverage 3–5 years of QA and test automation experience within an Agile/DevSecOps environment.
The role emphasizes test planning, automation, data validation, performance/load, and security testing, with hands-on coding in scripts and collaboration with product design, developers, and operations teams to improve testing workflows and ensure secure,
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
- BS degree in IT or related field with 2 years IT experience.
- 3 years experience with Git SCM providers (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
- 3 years with one or more programming or scripting languages.
- 3 years DevSecOps experience in Agile development.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3 years of test automation with Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman.
Responsibilities
- Understand stakeholder needs and translate to developers.
- Create test plans, test cases, and QA reports.
- Develop automated tests and CI/CD integrations.
- Validate data and perform functional, performance, and security testing.
- Mentor junior team members and share DevSecOps practices.
